wow philippines bucketlist (an update)
I have made two Wow Philippines bucket lists. One is based on the “Biyahe Tayo” song, which I first published here back in 2004. I reread it this morning to see how much I’ve done since then. I want to finish this by the time I’m 30. I first wanted to say “before 25″ but I don’t think I want to dance at the Obando anytime soon because I have no plans of getting pregnant anytime soon. Or maybe ever.
Napasyal ka na ba
Sa Intramuros at Luneta
Palawan, Vigan at Batanes
Subic, Baguio at Rice Terraces?
Namasdan mo na ba
Ang mga vinta ng Zamboanga
Bulkang Taal, Bulkang Mayon
Beach ng Boracay at La Union?
Nasubukan mo na bang
Mag-rapids sa Pagsanjan sa Siargao? (Because I surfed in La Union, twice)
Mag-diving sa Anilao
Mag-surfing
Natikman mo na ba
Ang sisig ng Pampanga (not sure I can ever cross this off for real because durian makes me gag)
Duriang Davao,
Bangus Dagupan
Bicol Express at Lechong Balayan?
Nakisaya ka na ba
Sa Pahiyas at Masskara
Moriones at Ati-Atihan
Sinulog at Kadayawan?
Namiesta ka na ba
Sa Peñafrancia sa Naga
Umakyat sa Antipolo
Nagsayaw sa Obando?
Almost there.
This is bucket list number 2, which I made in June 2010.
✎ Dive in Ticao with the Manta Rays
✎ Dive in Apo Island
✎ Dive in Tubbataha
✎ CWC and Caramoan
✎ Bella Roca and Moriones Festival in Marinduque
✎ Surf in Baler
✎ Surf in Siargao
✎ Dumaguete and Siquijor
✎ Coron
✎ Climb Mt. Pinatubo
✎ Kadayawan Festival in Davao
✎ Vinta Festival in Zamboanga
✎ Dapitan
✎ Sulu
✎ Ma. Christina Falls
✎ Ayala Museum
Shet so many destinations to go. How exciting!
Any more recommendations?

I should be your guide when you go to Marinduque. I was able to tour the entire island in one day – driving!

Oh, sorry to hear about your experience with Durian. There are different kinds of Durian, baka ma gustuhan mo yung iba.hehe
We have the best fruits in Davao and the best part is you can buy them cheap :D
Climb Mt. Apo, visit the Philippine Eagle Foundation and sponsor an Eaglet (you can name one after your mom or dad), enjoy the scenery at Eden Nature Park, go island hopping in Samal and visit the bat cave there.
Try going to Mati, Davao Oriental. You can skim and surf at Dahican, watch dolphins and visit turtles’ nests.
Since a lot of people read your blogs, I hope you get the chance to visit Mindanao and write about it. A lot of people think we get bombed everyday. It’s time to change that image.
More Power!
